About the adoption process (PLEASE READ)…
- Minimum age to adopt is 21.
- We DO check vet references if there are other dogs in the home. Please do not apply if your dog is not up to date on vaccines or on heartworm prevention.
- Please fill out the application entirely. You should get a confirmation email that it was submitted upon completion. PLEASE NOTE if it is not filled out in its entirety, it will just sit idle so you would need to check that all fields are completed. It is best to do on a desktop if possible.
- Everyone in the home must meet the dog if a meet and greet is scheduled, including all pets.
- Home visits are required. By signing the application, you are agreeing to a meet and greet and do not hold Wags & Wiggles responsible for any incidents during such.

Meet Greek! He is a 1 year old around 45lbs and believed to be a husky mix but we can't be certain without a DNA test. Greek is a really cool dog! He loves playing fetch and will drop the ball right at your feet. He craves affection and gets zoomies when you give him pets. He is very smart and would benefit from simple obedience training. He is good with kids and has meet kids of all ages. He does get very excited and is working on his jumping but honestly its because he is so happy to be out of the shelter. He spent over 4 months there waiting for rescue. He has learned a lot of manners in the short time he has been with his fosters. He is good with other dogs and is a vocal player like most husky's are. We have never had him around cats so we are not sure how he will do. Meet Jolene! She is believed to be an American Staffordshire Terrier mix, but we can’t be sure without a DNA test. Jolene is about a year old. She was found, as a stray, with a broken hind leg. Due to the shelter life, and lack of resources, the broken leg healed improperly…but don’t be fooled - this does not slow her down! Jolene loves to run around in the backyard and is always down for a car ride & at the end of the day she just wants to snuggle with her humans. She would do best in a home as an only dog.
