About the adoption process
(PLEASE READ)..
- Minimum age to adopt is 21.
- We DO check vet references if there are other dogs in the home. Please do not apply if your dog is not up to date on vaccines or on heartworm prevention.
- Please fill out the application entirely. You should get a confirmation email that it was submitted upon completion. PLEASE NOTE if it is not filled out in its entirety, it will just sit idle so you would need to check that all fields are completed. It is best to do on a desktop if possible.
- Everyone in the home must meet the dog if a meet and greet is scheduled, including all pets.
- Home visits are required. By signing the application, you are agreeing to a meet and greet and do not hold Wags & Wiggles responsible for any incidents during such.

Meet Alfred! He is believed to be a schnauzer around six years old. He is very sweet and silly. He does well with children and has been with a four-year-old. He does not seem to care about cats, he has only seen them through a cage though. He likes other dogs but isn't much of a crazy player more of a let's just hang out and go for a walk kind of guy. Alfred is potty trained and crate trained. He has great house manners and knows basic commands. He is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and on flea/tick/heartworm. His adoption fee is $150.

Meet Bruce! He is approximately 3 years old and believed to be a Husky mix, but we can't be sure without a DNA test. Bruce loves being outside and exploring. *ADOPTION FEE SPONSORED* Meet Jolene! She is believed to be an American Staffordshire Terrier mix, but we can’t be sure without a DNA test. Jolene is about a year old. She was found, as a stray, with a broken hind leg. Due to the shelter life, and lack of resources, the broken leg healed improperly…but don’t be fooled - this does not slow her down! Jolene loves to run around in the backyard, play with her toys, is always down for a car ride & at the end of the day she just wants to snuggle with her humans. Jolene is crate & potty trained and does well with basic commands. She is very treat motivated and would love to learn more tricks! Sunny's life expectancy is unknown with the condition of his heart but he does not act like his heart condition is affectioning him .
