About the adoption process
(PLEASE READ)..
- Minimum age to adopt is 21.
- We DO check vet references if there are other dogs in the home. If existing pets in the home are not up to date on vaccines & flea/tick/heartworm prevention this will result in automatic denial.
- Fill out the application in it’s entirety – failure to do so will result in automatic denial. Once submitted you will receive a confirmation email.
- Everyone in the home must meet the dog if a meet and greet is scheduled, including all pets.
- Home visits are required. By signing the application, you are agreeing to a meet and greet and do not hold Wags & Wiggles responsible for any incidents during such.

- We accept cash or card -only- for adoption fee payments

Meet Frankie! Frankie about 5mo old & is believed to be a German Shepherd Dog mix, but we can't be sure without a DNA test. Frankie came to us with a mild case of mange which is clearing up so well. He is super playful and loves to just be a pup. He loves playing with the other dogs in his foster home, however we are unsure how he would do with cats. Frankie has a lot of energy and would thrive in an active household. He is also working so hard on potty training and is crate trained. Meet Penny! Penny is a Shiba Inu mix who is about 5 months old and we believe will weigh about 40ish lbs. Penny was born with a cleft lip, but that does not hold her back at all, it just adds to her sweet charm. Penny is a super active pup and will do best with an active family. Penny is good with other dogs and kids, but no cats. She is extremely eager to learn and would benefit from puppy classes & obedience training. Penny is potty & crate trained. Meet Sunny! He is around a year old and 53lbs. Sunny is a sweet and goofy boy. FOOD is life for Sunny! He also enjoys toys and casual walks. Sunny has a grade 4 heart murmur and is taking blood pressure medication. He will need cardiology follow ups every 6 months. Sunny's life expectancy is unknown with the condition of his heart but he does not act like his heart condition is affectioning him . His cardiologist did say that he shouldn't take part in any strenuous activities like jogging or rough housing with other dogs. Sunny is vaccinated, microchipped, and started on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.
