About the adoption process
(PLEASE READ)..
- Minimum age to adopt is 21.
- We DO check vet references if there are other dogs in the home. If existing pets in the home are not up to date on vaccines & flea/tick/heartworm prevention this will result in automatic denial.
- Fill out the application in it’s entirety – failure to do so will result in automatic denial. Once submitted you will receive a confirmation email.
- Everyone in the home must meet the dog if a meet and greet is scheduled, including all pets.
- Home visits are required. By signing the application, you are agreeing to a meet and greet and do not hold Wags & Wiggles responsible for any incidents during such.

Meet Archie & Betty! Archie and Betty are believed to be Maltipoo mixes who are about 12 years old. Archie and Betty were found left in a barn and a good samaritan got them to us. We got both of them thoroughly vetted: both had teeth cleanings and Betty had a mass removed. They are now healthy happy dogs who have a lot of energy left in them for being senior dogs. Archie & Betty are a bonded pair and they must be adopted together. While shy at first - once they are able to settle in they love snuggles and being wrapped up under the blankets. They are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated & started on flea/tick/heartworm prevention.

Meet Simpson! He is a 1 year old Pomsky mix who currently weighs 20lbs. Simpson is a people pleaser who smiles every time he comes up to greet you. He has the cutest little stiff legged prance and wiggles his whole body to go along with his silly grin. He does great with older kids (he's never met any little kids that we are aware of) & gets along great with other dogs and cats. He is crate trained and does well using the doggy door at his foster home but also does well walking on the leash to go potty. He is a sensitive fella so loud noises and sudden movements can be a little scary but his confidence is growing every day! Meet Sunny! He is around a year old and 53lbs. Sunny is a sweet and goofy boy. FOOD is life for Sunny! He also enjoys toys and casual walks. Sunny has a grade 4 heart murmur and is taking blood pressure medication. He will need cardiology follow ups every 6 months. Sunny's life expectancy is unknown with the condition of his heart but he does not act like his heart condition is affectioning him . His cardiologist did say that he shouldn't take part in any strenuous activities like jogging or rough housing with other dogs.
