About the adoption process

(PLEASE READ)..

  • Minimum age to adopt is 21.
  • We DO check vet references if there are other dogs in the home.  If existing pets in the home are not up to date on vaccines & flea/tick/heartworm prevention this will result in automatic denial.
  • Fill out the application in it’s entirety – failure to do so will result in automatic denial. Once submitted you will receive a confirmation email.
  • Everyone in the home must meet the dog if a meet and greet is scheduled, including all pets.
  • Home visits are required. By signing the application, you are agreeing to a meet and greet and do not hold Wags & Wiggles responsible for any incidents during such.
  • For any questions about the application or adoption process please inquire at wagsandwigglesfwadoption@gmail.com.
  • Please allow 4-5 business days for processing.
  • We accept cash or card -only- for adoption fee payments

Daisy - PENDING

Not long ago, Daisy's world was a lonely field. For days, this little spaniel puppy survived on her own, watching from a distance and too scared to trust the people trying to help her. With patience, kindness, and a live trap, Daisy was finally brought to safety. Now that she's safe, Daisy is showing everyone the gentle soul that was hiding beneath all that fear. At just approximately 6 months old, Daisy is surprisingly mellow for a puppy. Her favorite place in the world is wherever her people are. If there's a lap available, she'll happily curl up in it. If not, she'll settle for resting at your feet, content just to be close. She has a sweet, quiet nature and a heart that seems to overflow with gratitude for every bit of love she receives. Daisy is still learning that the world isn't such a scary place. Loud noises and sudden movements can startle her, and she's not quite sure what to think about leashes yet. Because of this, she would do best in a home with a securely fenced yard where she can continue building confidence at her own pace. One thing Daisy definitely has going for her is her intelligence. This smart girl has nearly mastered potty training and is eager to keep learning. With patience, consistency, and lots of love, she's going to blossom into an incredible companion. Daisy has already overcome so much in her short life. Now she's looking for a family who will show her that she never has to be afraid or alone again.
